Wayne Taylor Racing - Support Engineer Job Opening

Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) is seeking a full-time Support Engineer to join its engineering staff.
WTR currently campaigns a Cadillac DPi prototype and multiple Lamborghini Super Trofeo cars in the IMSA SportsCar Series.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Documentation: vehicle setup, engineering notes and part mileage management
- Reporting: compiling information from technical partners and preparing engineering pre/post event reports
- Team Interaction: communicating directly with the drivers, crew chief and management
- Data System: basic familiarity/troubleshooting of car electronics system (ie. Motec, Cosworth, Magnetti Marelli)
- Engineering Assist: working within the engineering group on car performance/reliability improvements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: engineering graduate
- Experience: previous trackside experience preferred
- Motorsports Software: experience with Motec i2, Magnetti WinTAX, and/or Pi Toolbox
- Computing Software: comprehension of Excel, MATLAB or equivalent


FULL TIME POSITION
- Benefits: competitive salary, health care, 401K program
- Location: if necessary must be willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN area
- Travel: required between 7-12 race events per season and any potential testing primarily within North America
