We have an immediate opening in our small Austin, TX race shop. We are currently building two Grand-AM ST cars for a new team, as well as working on a variety of customer fabrication, composites, and design projects. Applicants should be comfortable working with basic machinery and hand tools; welding and composites experience are a bonus. A mature attitude and strong work ethic are more important than being an expert in anything.
This would be perfect for an engineering student looking to gain practical experience, and has long-term potential beyond the summer months. If you are looking for a foot in the door in motorsports, this might be a good start.
