Richard Childress Racing (NASCAR) - Simulation Engineer

Richard Childress Racing is a championship winning organization based out of Welcome, NC, USA, fielding multiple teams in the top tiers of NASCAR competition.

We are currently looking for candidates to strengthen our simulation group. We are looking for passionate individuals that can strengthen our organization. You will work within the simulation group with a focus on correlation to track and test rig data. You will also coordinate with the engine shop, aerodynamic group, and race engineering.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical Preferred)
• Experience with vehicle dynamics simulation is essential
• Data analysis experience in MATLAB and Motec or equivalent
• Strong analytical and practical problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work calmly in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines
• Working knowledge of tire data and Pacejka models a definite plus
• Basic programming skills also a plus.
