  1. Hey maxcool, thanks for reaching out to me for help, however,

What is it you want to know? I mean, more specifics, because there is a limit to what I could help you with (I am not in the motorsport industry). The problem with careers in motorsport is that they are not cheap, there is little to no funding (like scholarships or whatever) and jobs are difficult to find. The "usual path" is to do a master in something/someplace related to motorsports. In that matter, the name of the place where you will study will have a huge impact on how the market "sees you" as a potential hire.

    hey jpsub,

i am a former member of an Indian FSAE team (IKR, BITS Pilani).

i am nearing the end of my undergraduate studies and am really passionate about a career in motorsports (design). Problem is that racing is not that big either in our college or our country. I am looking for some help with how to go about pursuing this career (higher studies, projects, topics to study).

I was the structure subsystem head and team project manager for my team. So my design experience is mainly with chassis structure design and bodyworks design. But i am currently looking to move into Vehicle Dynamics (studying RCVD mostly). I am really hoping that you can help me out a little.

    Thanks a lot,
    Regards
    maxcool
