Were you the person on the team that enjoyed physically constructing the car as opposed to sitting behind a CAD station?
Were you the person on the team that TIG welded the frame together and took pride in the aesthetics of your weld?
Were you the person on the team that could whip together an aluminum fuel tank in an afternoon?
Were you the person on the team that viewed the machine shop as a playground full of the best toys a kid could ever want?

If so, you may be who we are looking for.

We are a young manufacturing company owned and run by a couple of FSAE and Baja alumni that specialize in highly custom high end architectural metal working for the hospitality industry. We make everything from tables to bars, to chandeliers, to building facades, to driveway gates, and much much more. We tackle and build anything that architects can dream up and rarely turn a job down because it is "too difficult."

Trend Manufacturing, Inc is looking for a new team member with the following skill set:
A confident welder
Skilled in setting up & fixturing
Comfortable working independently & following engineering drawings without assistance
Familiar with different alloys and experienced working with Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminum
Have an understanding of various machine tools, manual machining and CNC skills a plus
Ability to properly finish using hand tools, angle grinders, ect.
CAD Skills also a plus

Your work day will include, but is not limited, to the following tasks:

Developing manufacturing process off architectural renderings
Sourcing material for jobs and working with subcontractors
Designing product & creating shop drawings for existing ideas
Pushing the capabilities of the ever expanding list of shop equipment which includes: CNC waterjet, CNC mill, CNC router, ring benders, hydraulic benders, YAG laser marker, and more
