correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't there a much simpler way of accomplishing pedal lockout? i thought i recalled reading something way back when about rear geometries that pivot about the bottom bracket, mechanically eliminating pedal bob?

there's also all those rear shocks with remote (mechanical) lockout, the brain stuff from specialized, and propedal from fox?

couldn't you also just be like me and ride a hardtail?

I dont ride. Wish I could but a herniated L5 disk says no. Dont know history of Mtn. Bike stuff either. Just figured I throw something out there that i saw.
