Toyota Racing Development is looking for an energetic and motivated individual for an engineering position located in our R&D center in Salisbury, NC.
Job description:
-Analyze Flat-Track tire data, perform model fitting and deliver clear concise reports in a timely manner.
- Develop and optimize existing process for tire data fitting.
-Perform vehicle simulation (with existing TRD tools) and correlate tire model with experimental results.
Education:
-BS/MS in engineering
Required Skills:
-strong Matlab programming knowledge
-strongly skilled in data analysis techniques
-working knowledge of numerical methods and be able to apply techniques
-understanding of the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and vehicle simulation
Additional Skills:
-strong statistical background
-C/C++ programming
-some knowledge of GUI design
-some knowledge of working with API
-exposure to parallel computing / optimization
