Are they sure thats the stock z06. I remember reading something about the "Blue Devil" going around the Nurburgring in AutoWeek a few weeks ago, I think Jan or another C6-R team member was driving it.

Guess maybe hes done this twice with two different versions of the C6...I am jealous!

The Devil stuff is such BS, the car looks identical to a stock Z06 and the only evidence they have is that it sounds like it is supercharged. I think that one photographer was like, "Hey I have a bunch of shots of Z06s, but they are old news. How about I say I heard a supercharger so that people will buy the pictures."
The fact is that the 7:42.9 time is from a stock z06, not the blue devil. The time falls into what the Z06 should run.
