Wondering if anyone out there involved in karting has used the dunlop SL5 tyre (or tire for the northerners http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)? It has recently been selected as the control tyre for NZ (in tyre restricted classes) from December.

Can't seem to find much on them at the moment, but any feedback as to what they are like to drive on, how they go throughout the weekend? Anybody had any particular success with doping that they'd care to share?

A stab in the dark, but I figure there must be a few karters out there.

Cheers,

I know they use SL4s for the spec tire in Rotax Max, I'll ask my brother if he has any experience with the SL5
