Hi
Our team has found a resource that could provide us with the software analysis of the impact attenuator but I want to know if the physical testing is absolutely necessary. And if it is, then what is the best way to go about it.

Thanks

Put on really big boots and jump on it

Or use an MTS machine I think is what it's called

If you use a compression machine you can use the force vs displacement data.

So long as you can show the effect of material strain rate is negligible.
