We are looking for old, running FSAE cars to support our product development efforts. We are not an FSAE team and we don't want the latest, greatest designs. Rather we are looking for dependable runners or possibly rollers to speed up our phase 1 development (we are a new startup). If your old driver training cars are taking up too much space or you want to raise some money to fund next years effort we are interested in taking the old car off your hands. Pickup definately an option. We are located in Ohio.

Depends on how much stuff is included and what shape it is in. We are trying to cut a corner by not making a car to test our designs on. It doesn't have to be competition legal, but it can't fall apart with only moderate use. If it includes an advanced engine control package, spare wheels, high dollar shocks, etc., naturally we would pay more. But it can be carburated, have a crummy or no body, and the like and we would be satisfied.

Or, to answer your question, no more than 10k for something nice. Something really nice would of course be worth much more, but we don't want something really nice if we start cutting and breaking. Ideally, 3-5k for a ten year old design that won't fall apart unless you do something stupid.

We have a couple old chassis's... All would need new control arms and uprights to get rolling. They're pretty bare.

Just a thought.

We have a couple old chassis that we were thinking about rebuilding and selling this year. If your interested in pictures or more info on either chassis let me know.
