Greetings to all!

I will be straitforward-we are in demand of honeycomb but supplayer told us that it probably wont have any in stock for at least 4 weeks. As you all know Formula Student competition in England is for 20 days. So i am asking, pleeding if any of you have some of aluminum honeycomb to spare? I am looking for :

HEXCEL Aluminum Honeycomb 3/8"-5052-.004" any tickness.

If you know where we it could be purchased? Europe or World wide?

Looking forward to your respons and help.

Texas Almet is a good source, but when I order from them earlier this spring, it took three weeks for the order to be processed and shipped, and another 2 weeks for delivery. So just keep that in mind when ordering from them, tell them that it is a rush!

Good point. I never had a problem getting material from Texas Almet, mainly because they are located 5 minutes from our shop. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hi guys,

I am the leader of FSB Racing, that put the request for honeycomb...

We are in big trouble.
We ordered the honeycomb from http://www.cellbond.net

They say that it will be here, in Croatia on time, in 10 days. I sincerley doubt that, but still. You can never be too careful...

So, again, we are pleeding, asking, begging for 200x100x200 (in cell direction- thickness) 3/8 5052 honeycomb 0,004 foil gauge.

If somebody here has some to spare or can bring it and sell it to us in UK, 5th of July, we would be verry grateful...

We bumped in so much trouble that we are going crazy. Me can't start the engine, haven't done the tuning in of the engine, haven't done any testing jet, my notebook died, my external hard with all the data died, 2 more HD died in last few days... Just great... http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

HEEEELLLLP, please... Honeycomb is one of our biggest wories..
