It seems we will have room for yet another new intern so you still have time to apply. . .
OptimumG, the company owned by Claude Rouelle, is currently looking to hire at least one (and possibly two) new intern in the next month. Everyone who has completed this internship has found a great job in racing.
You'll get a broader range of experience than you could at a larger company. From the moment you start you'll have hands-on work with everything from tire modeling to on-track testing.
We are located in Denver, Colorado, USA, but our engineers are literally from all over the world. The current engineers are from Canada, USA, India, England, Australia, France and Estonia. The interns are provided with housing and transportation as part of the internship, so it is a very simple move from wherever you are to Denver.
To apply you need to send a letter (not a resume or CV) somewhere between 2-4 pages describing your experience.

do you have any problem with a graduating student applying for an internship position? My career advisor told me that if a student graduated ... he/she cant apply for an intern position since some companies have issues with giving an internship position to a graduated student.

Actually, all of our interns already have their bachelors. Some have their masters, some are working on them.
For this position it is preferred that you are graduated since you will be devoting a LOT of your time to the company.
Here are some things Claude has said about the internship. It might help guide your letter writing:

- You need to be very good with Matlab. Are you? Can you prove it? Do you have example you can send us?
- Are you good with drawing software? Can you prove it? Do you have example you can send us? Which software do you use?
- Are you ready to work 80 hours a week?
- What is your practical, hands on experience on race car?
- Tell me what your thesis will be (or you would like it to be) about?
- What would you like to do in racing: research, simulation, testing.... ?
- What is the part of the racing engineering / technology which interest you; engine, aero, brake, data analysis ...?
- Are you ready to come for 12 months?
- Follow the procedure with the letter explaining what your experience and character are.

I hope that helps
