Anyone here plan out a course through your campus and successfully make it through without getting caught?

We have a small town that revolves around the university and I am so tempted to rip the car down mainstreet and/or race through campus on morning early when no one is on the walkways...

IMHO, have fun the right way. We're a bunch of engineers here, not some high school kids. We engineers take calculated risk. And ripping the car through the campus early in the morning seems to have more harm than benefit, even if the video suggest "pure andrenaline".

RiNaZ,

Do you go to school at Embry Riddle? I visited there once, its like 70% dudes there right?

You are making the responsible opinion though!

3:14 in that video seems a little hairy...doing that in a fsae car is one thing, but doing it in a Kart is a whole other thing.

Oh and don't be a retard. If you get caught doing something stupid you could get your program shut down and then all the other colleges would find out about it and then our school would probably give us an even harder time about our fsae program.

On another note, I could conceive of a team who has to drive their car through the campus to get to the lots they pratice in, and during that time it might be possible that they pass cute girls and it might be possible that they need to show off....well at least I could conceive of such an event. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

SpdRcr,
i dont know what percentage it is over here, but it does seems like it, maybe 85% sometimes http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. Come to think of it, i dont think there is any technical school anywhere in the world that has more % of women than men.

i dont think the guys here mind though, since they will be able to make it up during spring break i guess http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I dont date, so i really dont care about the percentage.

the maze of sidewalks around campus would definitely make a sweet track, except for campus police, pedestrians, curbs, lightpoles, buildings, and other things that would mess up your day. the small parkinglot I got to drive the car in for 10 minutes was basically only good for wipping the backend of the car around and no actual testing was done. oh ya, that guy in the shifter kart is crazy!

Shoot, I have a hard enough time driving my own car around some spots of campus (it usually sits kinda low, raised for auto-X recently). Even if we wanted to, if we took the SAE car out, I bet it would turn into an odd looking swingset in no time, or at least shoot sparks everywhere...

You know everyone wants to do that at least once. I wish you could see more of his right hand in the video though.
