I know that it is possible to buy kits to build your own muffler. However I looked at many places to find one, but nobody is selling that. Does anyone have a clue on where I could purchase these kits.

Most companies sell packing, so you can make the tubes and end caps, and pack them yourself

That´s what we do as well...homemade tubes, purchased packing. Doesn´t take all that long.

The packing is usually just fiberglass... You can get it free if you call composites companies and ask for waste mat...
