I was wondering if switching my stock B18B engine (94 LS) integra for a B16 and a turbo is a good idea..or if i should swap the head of my engine for a B18C Type R head through gudehead and get a port n polish....right now i have 163k miles on my stock engine..so it is gonna get some work no matter what. Thanks!

I'm not sure what this has to do with FSAE but, ditch the Integra and get a 454 Chevelle. The gas is goma be tough but think of the interior room!

Go with the Yamaha R6 engine. It'll give you power all the way to 15,500 rpm. Seriously, Mr. Integra, you should direct your question towards the intelligent people at http://forums.hondashowoff.com/. Personally, I would never put a B16 in an Integra.

Denny, why would you spend $4999 on a turbo kit for a 1994 Miata? You could probably duplicate that kit for about $1500 if you built it yourself.

while front wheel drive has its problems, I have been in some dang fast hondas. Faster that most V8 cars I've riden in for that matter. As for the swap, stick with the cheaper LS intergra motor, and simply don't rev it past 6500 - 7000, get a stand alone sys. and round abouts 15psi boost and you'll have fun. As for the V8, put one in a focus, then were talking bad @$$.

If you want my opinion turbo a B18C1 Of course I drive an Integra GSR but I'm sticking to SCCA STS rules.

There is so much info out there on this stuff it isn't even funny (not even a little bit)

actually, if we are talking real power DART makes an after market honda block that can be bored out to 2.4 liters. Some magazine I read was getting like 500HP and 500ftlbs with very little effort under boost. so if you don't like to keep you tires around, this could be one option.

A: there is an off topic section in this forum
B: swap the integra with a RWD car
C: that is a stupid question, that you allready know the answer too.
