Greetings,

There is a natural turn over on this forum although I still see a few familiar names. So, please allow me to re-introduce myself.

My name is John Block. I am a Racing Engineer and have been involved in racing for 38 years (yes I’m old and probably older than your dad). The FSAE Program is an incredible opportunity to get a taste of life beyond the books. In the past I have supported many Teams and gone to several schools to lecture. In fact, I feel so strongly about the Program that I regularly let students from two schools (at a time) attend my Data Acquisition webinars for free.

One school has already signed up, but for the first team to contact me at autoware@aol.com you can take the second slot and attend the course for free.

This is not a joke or a “come on.” If you would like to see past offers and post please go to http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/t...10528341#71810528341 (http://fsae.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/125607348/m/40810006521?r=71810528341#71810528341)

Time once again for the opportunity that may give your team the big advantage over the competition.

We have improved our Data Acquisition webinar and are starting the March classes on the 18th. Starting times, dates etc can be see at www.auto-ware.com (http://www.auto-ware.com) as the session now consists of 5 classes to get you back on the car and not tied up in front of the computer for over a month like the old format.

As in the past, one school gets to attend for FREE! All you have to do is be the first to send me an email to John@auto-ware.com.

We are also starting our A arm Front Suspension class and will allow one school to attend for Free! Again, first to send me an email (John@auto-ware.com) gets the slot. Go to the web site for time and date info.

And the Winners are...

I was close (almost as close as registration), but McGill in Canada wins the slot for the Data Acq class and Lawrence Tech in MI wins the slot for the A arm suspension class.

Congrats and we will see you next week in class.

Even if you didn't win the "Free" slot you should still try to attend John's seminars. As a fellow student who has attended them a few times now I can admit that I have learned more in the few hours with him than with days of reading one data acq book after another.

Plus it only cost $50, which is well more than the cost of a few racing books on the same topic. You can also attend any future data acq seminars with him for free after you pay for the first one. So check it out guys, even if you missed the gravy train this time around.
