We decided that the FSAE car was too much work and that we'd have a much better chance at winning the Human-Powered Vehicle competition.

You beat us to it... and we had just found out that a rearward-facing seat and pedals fit nicely in place of the CBR600F3. Maybe we'll have to try Mini Baja instead.

Badass! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif We had talked about building a fleet of chopper monkey bikes to roll around campus on. Nothing more intimidating than that. Maybe we could get on the Discovery Channel too...

Check out the Monash entry.

We've modified the HPV format a bit by giving contestants a welder, a junk yard and 60 minutes to fashion their vehicle of choice. Our working title is "The FSAE Scooter-in-an-hour Challenge"
This is Bob Wright's effort below

And a vid of it maiden voyage.

Apparently had a little too much trail. Ride was harsh to say the least.

Once you have a scooter the logical progression is to start a limbo competition.
Just remember... telescopic handlebars are must for any serious junkyard limbo scooter.

Granted we're missing the 6 point harness and roll hoop, here's what we've got so far...
