View Full Version : Tube Frame Chassis Design

I thought that you guys may have some intrest in this chassis design. It was done to see if I could design a chassis that is in the range of 2600 ft lbs/deg. Most of the tubes are 1" square .060 wall. You may notice that the roll hoop has no structural tubs in it so that the motor can be installed thru the passenger compartment. The floor is curved to accept the profile of a tunnel.

Just a little food for FSAE thought. A little late for this year, but...
