OVERVIEW:
"¢ Design and develop valves for active/adaptive suspension systems in development, from concept through functional on-vehicle prototype. Systems include: adaptive damping, air suspension systems including active air system, and active roll control.
o Develop concepts, create designs, perform engineering analysis, build prototypes for testing.
"¢ Work closely with Suspension System Engineers, Vehicle Dynamics and Controls group, tuning and developing system on-vehicle.
"¢ Interact with customers, suppliers, and team members to achieve program objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
"¢ Valve design, analysis and development
o 2D & 3D design, modeling using AMESim and upfront CFD analysis
"¢ Work with test equipment and analyze test data
"¢ Develop FMEA's and DVP's
"¢ Author reports, create presentations and document intellectual property.
"¢ Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies that may improve operations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
"¢ Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Masters degree a plus.
"¢ 3 - 10 years experience in design and development of valves.
"¢ Experience in valve modeling. CFD and AMESim experience a plus.
"¢ Experience in CAD. Solidworks or Catia is a plus
"¢ Excellent communication skills
"¢ Project management experience

All of the advanced chassis work is done in Troy, MI. I spent a summer there (and enjoyed it), so if you have any questions PM me.
